Beijing Key Laboratory of Immunological Research of Allergy

Beijing Key Laboratory of Immunological Research of Allergy (LIRA), established by Tsinghua University with the Institute of Immunology as its research base, focuses on type II immune-related allergic diseases such as allergic asthma. The laboratory investigates cellular biology and molecular regulatory networks in allergic reactions of the skin, intestines, and lungs; explores innate immunological mechanisms of allergic diseases; examines the role of neuroimmune interactions in these diseases; and conducts translational medical research and immunotherapy for allergic diseases. The laboratory aims to delve into disease mechanisms through clinical samples, disease models, effector cells, intercellular interactions, interorgan interactions, and gene targets, ultimately providing key targets for the development of new drugs for allergic diseases.
