The functional testing platform for implanted and interventional cardiovascular devices
Established in 2024, FCD Platform is a school-level experimental platform managed by the School of Basic Medical Science and located in Building of Medical Science C 149,150 at Tsinghua University. The research focus of FCD Platform is to develop and evaluate high-end medical devices, including but not limited to cardiovascular devices with technical features including computational simulations, in vitro circulation experiments, cell experiments, and biochemical analysis of animal and clinical samples. The platform serves medical device companies, institutions, and relevant administrations. its core equipment includes cell experimental devices, a self-developed MOCK-LOOP system, a self-developed biomedical dosimeter of cold atmospheric plasma, a hemodynamic simulation and experimental system.
