Led by Pan Yu, Director of the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at Beijing Tsinghua Changgung Hospital, Beijing Key Laboratory of Intelligent Rehabilitation Research and Translational Applications for Neuromotor Function addresses the formidable challenges of rehabilitating motor dysfunctions caused by stroke, spinal cord injury, and neurodegenerative diseases. By deeply integrating intelligent sensing, brain-computer interfaces, robotics, big data, and artificial intelligence, the laboratory aims to establish an innovative R&D and translational platform for intelligent neuromotor rehabilitation.
The Beijing Key Laboratory of Intelligent Rehabilitation Research and Translational Applications for Neuromotor Function focuses on full-chain technology R&D, spanning intelligent rehabilitation assessment, precise intervention, personalized training, and prognostic prediction. It aims to construct a neuromodulation standards system and intelligent equipment solutions tailored for the Chinese population, helping upgrade rehabilitation medicine from a traditional model to a precise, intelligent, and personalized paradigm, thereby enhancing the rehabilitation outcomes and quality of life for patients with neurological dysfunctions.
