Beijing Key Laboratory of Engineering Science for Intelligent Chinese Medicine

The Beijing Key Laboratory of Engineering Science for Intelligent Chinese Medicine was led by Tsinghua University, with the School of Biomedical Engineering serving as the relying research institution. It is co-established with partner units including CapitalBio Corporation, Beijing CapitalBio Jingfang Biotechnology Co., Ltd., and Tsinghua University Yuquan Hospital (Tsinghua University Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine). Professor Cheng Jing, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and Chair Professor of the School of Biomedical Engineering at Tsinghua University, serves as the laboratory director. Guided by the core philosophy of "the convergence-driven integration of Chinese medicine science and digital engineering," the laboratory revolves around the complete innovation chain of "AI-decoded omics — target discovery — molecular generation — high-throughput screening — novel drug discovery — organoid validation — intelligent diagnosis — omics backtracking." It is dedicated to building a nationally leading and internationally advanced innovation platform for intelligent Chinese medicine.
