MOE Key Laboratory of Digital Intelligent Hepatology is led by Professor Dong Jiahong, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and an internationally renowned hepatobiliary surgeon. The laboratory collaborates with academicians and experts from Tsinghua University's hepatobiliary medicine and intelligent technology fields, focusing on major theoretical and key technological issues in the prevention and treatment of hepatobiliary diseases in China and worldwide. Through clinically driven, multidisciplinary, and integrated research, the laboratory leverages data science to empower the prevention and treatment of major hepatobiliary diseases, deepen the understanding of liver function, decode the essence of hepatobiliary diseases, and establish new concepts, models, and technologies for precise prevention and treatment of hepatobiliary diseases.
The laboratory has established four key research tasks:
Constructing an integrated high-dimensional data foundation and data science research paradigm for hepatobiliary medicine.
Systematically decoding liver function and the essence of liver diseases based on high-dimensional datasets.
Exploring and industrializing intelligent precision prevention and treatment technologies for hepatobiliary diseases.
Building and practicing a precise prevention and treatment system for hepatobiliary diseases.
