从立志治病救人的临床医学生到投身基础医学研究的免疫学科学家

彭敏,目前受聘于清华大学基础医学院、清华-北大生命科学中心和清华大学免疫学研究所,任副教授、研究员、博士生导师。彭敏2005年本科毕业于四川大学华西医学中心临床医学专业,于2010年在北京协和医学院获得免疫学博士学位,2010-2017年在纽约纪念斯隆凯特琳癌症中心从事博士后研究, 研究方向为mTORC1调控机制和免疫代谢,相关研究成果以第一作者身份发表在Cell(2014)、Science(2016)及Nature(2017)等杂志,并获得纪念斯隆凯特琳癌症中心2015年度Postdoctoral Research Award(杰出博士后)荣誉称号。2017年,彭敏博士入职清华大学开展独立科研和教学工作,致力于使用高通量功能基因组学技术系统性地探索免疫学基本问题,尤其是记忆免疫记忆的本质和及其调控机制。自实验室建立以来,彭敏以通讯作者身份在Nature Immunology(2024),Journal of Experimental Medicine (2023, 2024), Journal of Clinical Investigations (2021) 及Cell Reports (2019) 等杂志发表研究成果,并获得中组部青年千人称号(2018)以及“求是”杰出青年学者奖(2019)。

研究T细胞免疫应答机制,探索T细胞免疫治疗新策略

彭敏教授的科研重点是T细胞生物学以及基于T细胞的免疫治疗。主要研究方向包括T细胞的稳态、增殖、分化以及免疫记忆的分子机制,并利用这些机制构建新的免疫治疗平台。研究团队致力于利用高通量基因组学和免疫学的最新手段,通过深度研究和探索T细胞的调控机制,发现新的调控靶点,提高T细胞治疗的有效性、适用性和可及性。

· T细胞信号转导方面,彭敏团队发现一个新的蛋白质家族在T细胞钙信号调控方面发挥重要作用。

· 记忆性T细胞方面,通过基因编辑,创造了新的T细胞类型,该类型T细胞可在体内长期存在,具有杀伤功能,无副作用。该发现或许将改变人们对记忆性T细胞本质的认识,并具有广阔的临床应用前景。
