Hepatitis viruses and flaviviruses have been became a growing concern to human health. We are interested in how does these viruses establish infection and how does the host antiviral response fight against these viruses. Our group combines cell biology, molecular virology, genomics and proteomics to characterize the host-viruses interactions and we aim to construct novel cell culture or animal models for studying host-pathogen interaction and for efficiently testing anti-microbial intervention strategies.
