在微创脑机接口领域，团队自主研发了六个系列生物相容微创神经电极，神经信号采集、放大与无线传输系统，以及高效的神经信号压缩、检测与分类算法，构建了脑机闭环交互控制体系，目前已在小鼠（超1年）、大鼠（超1年）、比格犬（超半年）、巴马猪、狨猴（超1年）、蝙蝠等模式动物上完成原型系统验证，完成 8 例（至2025 年 2 月）由研究者发起的人上临床实验研究。

在微纳机器人领域，团队专注于生物自驱动微纳机器人功能模式研究，突破传统生物体外部控制微纳机器人面临的能量供给与操控限制。首次提出肠驱动被动式微针机器人药物递送模式，利用胃肠道蠕动和微环境响应，实现药物的口服递送；与北京天坛医院王伊龙教授团队合作，首次提出颅骨骨髓免疫细胞给药微纳机器人，借助经“颅-脑免疫微通道”天然入脑捷径和骨髓免疫细胞对脑实质病灶的靶向性，实现中枢神经系统药物递送与疾病治疗。

基于上述研究基础，团队也已开展了微纳机器人给药技术与脑机接口技术的交叉融合研究，探索基于脑神经活动动态调控的多模态闭环微纳机器人给药技术，为中枢神经系统疾病的早期干预提供新的思路。
