The day began with the White Coat Ceremony, a meaningful rite of passage where new students donned their white coats for the first time, symbolizing their commitment to compassion, professionalism, and patient-centered care. Inspiring speeches were delivered by professors, leading physicians, and student representatives, emphasizing the values of dedication, curiosity, and interdisciplinary collaboration that define a Tsinghua physician.

A highlight of the ceremony was when five student representatives wore brain–computer interface devices. As their real-time EEG signals were captured, the banner “Tsinghua University” gradually unfolded on the screen, revealing the theme: “Inheriting the Pulse of Medicine, Creating the Future Together.” This moment symbolizes the Class of 2025 embracing the profound responsibility of safeguarding health and life: “Health entrusted, lives in our care.”
