In recent years, focus on interdisciplinary research, aiming to leverage big data and artificial intelligence to develop new pathways for long-term patient management and explore innovative models for medical quality management.
In the field of health management practices for patients with chronic diseases, the research focus is on middle-aged and elderly patients with chronic conditions. Studies are conducted across multiple dimensions, including risk factors, symptom management, self-care, and digital and intelligent interventions, to explore new approaches for the long-term management of chronic disease patients.
In the field of health policy research, participation has been undertaken in key and major projects commissioned by the Chinese Academy of Engineering, the Research Office of the State Council, the National Health Commission, and other institutions. These projects span various healthcare service systems, such as hospital management, primary healthcare, public health, and elderly care. Policy recommendations have been adopted and referenced by government authorities. Drafting or translating reports such as the Chinese Nursing Association Nursing Human Resources Report for the International Council of Nurses Asian Human Resources Forum and the International Nurses Day 2025 Report by the International Council of Nurses.
Over ten academic papers have been published as first or corresponding author. Associate Editor and contributing author for publications such as "China Healthcare Development Report," "History of Chinese Nursing (1909-1949)," and "Healthcare Management." Academic exchanges and visits have been conducted at globally renowned institutions, including Johns Hopkins University, the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in the United States, New York University, and Kanazawa Medical University in Japan.
