Disease is always a main killer in human history。Diagnosis, treatment of patients to rescue human life and improve life quality is not only the work of physicians, but also the great duty for our clinical researchers。My research is to solve the most important needs in clinical practice. In my mind,a successful researcher in Biomedical Engineering should have scientific contributions. More importantly, his research should have clinical significant and should be applied to clinical practice。My research goal is to improve accuracy of diagnosis, lower the death rate of the major diseases, improve the life quality of patients by using advanced early diagnostic method and optimized treatment methods.

My research is focused on novel quantitative physiological and functional imaging methods. I develop new imaging methods, sophisticated image processing techniques, and novel physiological models to quantitatively assess the physiological and functional properties of certain tissue. Specifically, my main clinical intresets are:

1. Vascular Diseases, such as atherosclerosis, aneurysm

2. Oncology, such as breast cancer, prostate cancer

3. Liver diseases, such as fibrosis, cirrhosis, tumor
