The Biomedical Imaging Research Center of Tsinghua University was established in 2010. It is a school-level scientific research platform built under the key support of 985 discipline construction funds, Beijing Multimodal Medical Imaging Engineering Technology Research Center, and an important medical-industrial cross-experiment platform. The center has a fully digital 3T whole-body magnetic resonance imaging system Ingenia CX, complete experimental space and complete software and hardware auxiliary experimental devices. Professional operation management team and quality control guarantee to provide open testing services of technology research and development, basic research, and clinical application transformation to users inside and outside the school 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to help the development of related fields and industries.

The imaging center has become an important global magnetic resonance technology research and development center, and has developed many original technologies such as large-field high-resolution vascular wall multi-contrast imaging, three-dimensional myocardial quantitative imaging, quantitative blood flow imaging, quantitative physiological imaging, and distortion-free high-resolution diffusion imaging. , Published in authoritative academic journals in the field of magnetic resonance, applied for and obtained a number of Chinese invention patents, and its excellent technology has been highly praised by domestic and foreign counterparts.

The platform has core technical advantages in medical imaging research on cardiovascular and neurodegenerative diseases, and supports large-scale clinical population cohort studies on atherosclerosis and stroke based on vascular wall imaging technology. Undertake and complete high-end medical equipment brain pacemaker magnetic resonance imaging and compatibility test projects.

The imaging center has won awards for the use of large-scale instruments and equipment in the school for five consecutive years. It is committed to providing users with high-level technical support and high-quality experimental data with an open experimental environment, and strives to build a world-class biomedical imaging research center.
